Until the 29th August 2019, AMEX are offering up to 90,000 membership rewards points for new, referred members. You just need to spend $3,000 or more in the first 3 months from the approval date. You can use this link to apply for this deal get those bonus points.
The AMEX platinum card is a premium card with plenty of benefits and an annual fee to match – $1,450. We are currently working on a full guide of the benefits and features of the AMEX platinum charge card and will update this post when released. I am also planning to show a breakdown of the value I have received from this card over one year of use. And also whether I plan on keeping it for another year. Keep an eye out for that post.
What can you do with 90,000 AMEX ascent premium points?
Ascent premium points are extremely flexible and can be transferred to many airline and hotel rewards programs. So if you find a good redemption in another rewards program you can transfer your ascent premium points and redeem that deal. Unfortunately, most transfers are done at a 2:1 ratio due to recent changes in April 2019.
The program’s partners include:
- Air New Zealand Airpoints
- Asia Miles (Cathay Pacific)
- Emirates Skywards
- Etihad Guest
- Malaysia Airlines Enrich
- Qantas Frequent Flyer
- Singapore Airlines Krisflyer
- Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus
- Velocity Frequent Flyer
- Virgin Atlantic Flying Club
- Hilton Honours
- Mariott Bonvoy
