As a celebration for reaching 10 million members Velocity is giving some bonuses to its members. The three bonuses are shared below.
Get a share of 10 million Velocity points
That’s right, free points! Admittedly, it probably won’t be large amount of points considering a large majority of the Velocity population will be getting a share. The only condition is that you download, log into the new Velocity frequent flyer app and activate the offer. It is available on both Android and iOS. Once logged in the offer should be right on the main page.
10 points per $1 spent on Virgin Australia
The second bonus on offer is 10 points for every $1 dollar spent on Virgin Australia flights. This is a nice bonus for those planning to book a flight (not including long-haul international) in the next couple of days (before 13/10/2019).
10 free status credits!
The final bonus is 10 status credits. While this is a paltry amount for most, it may be enough to put some people over the line for silver or gold status.
What can you spend Velocity points on?
- Economy flights
- Business class flights
- Items from the rewards store – however, this is generally bad value.
