Until the 22nd November the Velocity rewards store is offering a 15% discount store-wide. All you need to do is find the items you want to purchase with points then enter the code XMAS15 at checkout to get a 15% discount.
Is this deal worth it?
Usually I wouldn’t recommend using your hard earned Velocity points on buying appliances or other physical goods. This is because value of the points is worth much more if you redeem them on Virgin Australia flights or partner airlines. However if you really need that 8 slot toaster or aren’t much of a frequent flyer this could be good opportunity to get some more bang for your points. You can even buy Priority Pass memberships if you want more access to lounges.
